About the Event
We are having a ham radio equipment sale at the clubhouse on May 10, 2025. The sale will run from 9:00am until noon. We are selling all sorts of radio gear including receivers, transceivers, amplifiers, antennas, components, test equipment, and feed lines.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did this change from an “auction” to a “sale?” — We did not realize how much equipment would be donated, so our originally planned auction was not feasible. After some work, we were able to put a good price on all the equipment for sale at the clubhouse. It is a great opportunity to pick up different items that you need but did not want to pay the full price.
Do I need to be a member to buy something at this sale?” — This sale is open to the public. Club members will be able to buy equipment before the public sale. Members should check their their email for a notice (through the club’s Groups.io mailing list) about how that works. While members will have the benefit of this early access, we anticipate having lots of good gear available for the public sale.
Where will the sale happen? — The sale will happen at our clubhouse, which is located at 400 Glennwood Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29306. For a link to the Google maps, location click here.
What forms of payment are accepted? — Cash is preferred, but we will take a personal check (with proper ID.) We can also accept payments through Paypal.
Can I bring my own equipment to sell? — No. We have plenty of equipment that has been donated to the club for this sale. We will not have room for tailgating or be able to sell equipment for others at this event.
Where do I park? — We have parking in the front and to the side of the clubhouse. There is also an empty field next to the clubhouse, which the owner lets us use during events. If you decide to park in the grass, please be respectful by not tearing up the grass as you park.

Can someone not in the club bid on items in the auction?
