April 26th POTA Activation Successful

This Saturday’s POTA activation event at Croft State Park was a great success. Club members and a few guests enjoyed the beautiful weather and some fine barbecue with all the “fixins” while having QSOs in person and on the air.

We made 103 confirmed contacts for the activation, with ten (10) park-to-park contacts, nine (9) QSOs into Canada, and even one maritime mobile contact with a fellow from the Netherlands who was sailing 700 miles off the U.S. Atlantic coast. Thanks to all who made this event possible.
